The Sa Roca Visitor Centre, located in the municipality of Muro, is the gateway to the S'Albufera de Mallorca Natural Park. Visitors need to make a stop here as they must register to enter this natural area before starting the tour.

This visitor centre is located one kilometre from the park entrance and features a shop with books on the flora and fauna in the area, a small room with a photographic exhibition, a drinks vending machine and toilets.

The buildings that now host the Sa Roca Visitor Centre and the Can Bateman Visitor Centre, which is located next door, used to belong to an old paper mill inaugurated in 1917, which operated with steam technology and used water from the lagoon to carry out its activity. When it closed ten years later, the building was abandoned and left in ruins. Once the lagoon was declared a natural park in 1988, the two ends of the old factory were rebuilt to assist visitors.

The centre is open every day from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm, except Christmas Day and New Year's Day. If your visit will be with a group, prior authorisation must be requested by calling +34 971 89 22 50.
