A trip with sea taste

Mallorca will not disappoint the travelers - friends of the small details that have made ports to their own paradise. The salt smell, the crunching of the ropes, the creaking of the masts, or the smell of weathered paint still reminds us of the old fishing ports.

On Mallorca, you can still find old fishing ports that have preserved all their charms. Puerto de Sóller, Portocolom, Cala Figuera, Porto Petro or Cala D'Or are just a few examples of these picturesque places where you can enjoy the images of past fishing practices: boat houses, the old fishermen’s´ houses in bright white, spread out in the sun nets and the unmistakable llaüts, the traditional wooden boats with triangular sails, made according to the rules of the old craftsmanship handed down from generation to generation.

Visit these ports in the late afternoon. You can stroll along the harbor, watch the waves on the waves and enjoy one of the fish specialties in the surrounding restaurants.
