Muro is a rural village, an example of the most traditional Mallorca, located on the fertile plain of Pla de Mallorca. It is an exceptional place for admiring the traditional sandstone architecture and tasting the locally produced wine, as part of the island's wine production is concentrated in this area. You can also find fresh local produce at the Sunday market and enjoy Mallorcan gastronomy in the wide variety of restaurants in the area.

Playa de Muro belongs to this municipality and is situated on the Bay of Alcúdia. It is an ideal place for water sports and relaxing with the family, or for birdwatching and losing yourself among the more than 300 birds that inhabit the Albufera de Mallorca natural park, which can be reached from Playa de Muro. It is also considered a MICE(meetings, incentives, congresses and events) destination due to its beautiful surroundings and warm temperatures all year round.
