Palma is the capital of Mallorca, the cultural and economic engine of the island. It is inhabited by more than 400,000 people (almost half of the inhabitants of Mallorca) and is located on the shores of the bay of the same name, on the west coast of the island.

Palma is plenitude, Mediterranean charm, a melting pot of cultures, the city of a thousand and one possibilities. Historically known for its sun and beach, today it offers an enormous range of cultural, sporting, artistic, gastronomic and leisure experiences to please all types of travellers at any time of the year.

Even so, there are several must-sees for getting to know the first essence of Palma before returning and delving deeper into it. It is also perfect for exploring on foot or by bicycle.
