Nature reserve La Gola

We can very well understand why many visitors of the Mallorcan wetlands are fascinated by the birds. These wetlands are true sanctuaries of protected fauna and flora where you can admire species of incredible beauty. La Gola is one of these magical places - a natural sanctuary in which the peace and the weightlessness of the birds unite and fill you with wonderful feelings.

La Gola is a small wetland area, but of great ornithological value thanks to the exceptional rich diversity of migrating birds visiting this area in spring and autumn, as well as the birds breeding in this area.

In addition to the facilities for bird watching, the La Gola Bird Observation Center is a place for collecting and forwarding information. It has a permanent exhibition with information on the birds that can be seen in the most important areas, as well as information on the natural parks and the public fincas of the Balearic Islands.
