Restaurant Celler Can Ripoll

From the mid-twentieth century on, in around 1950, the Celler gradually began turning into a food-serving establishment, ending up as what we now know as a typical Mallorcan Celler-restaurant.

The Celler is located in the basement (to help preserve the wine, avoiding sudden changes in temperature) of the Casal de Ca´n Ripoll building, and consists of a central room with a high ceiling and large pointed arches, several reserved areas for company meals or family events and an inner courtyard. The original style of the installations has been maintained even after all this time, including the preservation of the barrels and wine press.
