Venue Can Ripoll

In the 17th and 18th centuries, this house was owned by the Binimelis and the Ripoll families. Gabriel Verd i Reure purchased the house well into the 19th century.

Catalina Verd i Mayol de Bàlitx married Pere Morell i Verd. Their heirs sold the house to the Government of the Balearic Islands and it now houses the Regional Tourism Ministry. The patio is accessed through a huge, low arch with marble pilasters and Ionic-style capitals. The staircase rises up from the right side, with an iron banister featuring flat balusters. On the first floor is a gallery with one arch and baroque balusters.
