Visit the Finca Pública Galatzó

The public Finca Galatzó estate is located in Calviá, where you can explore several routes of varying length - from half an hour to a whole day. You can enjoy a variety of wonderful landscapes with your family, full of interesting fauna and flora. You can visit the various buildings of the possessió. The oil mill, a chapel and the beautiful botanical garden are still well preserved. You can feel the way the former inhabitants of the Serra de Tramuntana lived. There are also tables and benches on the finca where you can enjoy a picnic in the open countryside.

On your walks and hikes you will be always accompanied by the silhouette of the Magic Mountain or Puig del Galatzó with its 1,027 meters. The legends of the Comte Mal (Evil Earl) are still present in all parts of the mountain.  According to one of these legends, the nobleman, who was known for his great cruelty, was condemned to riding the eternal for the night on a green, fire-breathing horse.
