Winery Finca Es Fangar

Finca Es Fangar's long history dates back to the 14th century. But even long before that, the Romans were growing wine and olives in this sunny region of south-east Mallorca. Later, the Spanish brought horses to the island. At the dawn of the new millennium, these ancient traditions were revived by the new owners of Es Fangar. The traditional Mallorcan finca, or estate, has been lovingly restored and modernised, without loosing its original charm. As one of Mallorca's largest and most important estates, covering almost 1,000 hectares, Es Fangar is fully devoted to biological and organic farming. Today, Es Fangar is regarded as a model organic finca. Its first-rate wines and olive oils are produced to the highest standards. In addition, Es Fangar is home to a horse stud, breeding modern Hanoverians with the best of bloodlines. With its fine wines, olive oil, and horses, Finca Es Fangar blends the traditional with the visionary. That's because we believe everything created here should be just as exceptional as the place itself.
