Beach Es Codolar

Es Codolar is a long beach with pebbles in the south of Ibiza, 10 km from the town, between sa Caleta and the Cap of Falcó.

The beach covers the areas of the Pont de Baix and the Estanys de Còdols (còdols is the Catalan word for pebbles). With its 3 km it is the longest beach on the island. It is slightly inclined; after 50 meters the water is only 1.80 deep. In the water itself the sandy seabed is a pleasant surprise. The beach is in the immediate vicinity of the airport; you must leave the roundabout at the entrance to the terminal in the direction of Sant Josep to take the road that leads to the sea. You can also cross the Ses Salines Natural Park in the last section. The park offers the possibility of different routes, and visiting the places where salt was won: a great contrast in white and blue. If you want to relax and enjoy the sunset in peace: the beach offers two very pleasant beach bars with a rich offer.

In short: the beach offers a quiet place thanks to its mass and the small number of visitors, some of whom are nudist trailers. If you like to dive, we recommend the eastern section of the beach, and if you want to see aircraft in zero altitude flying, you only have to be in the central area of the beach. An exciting experience!
