Cove Pou d'es Lleó

Pou des Lleó or Canal d'en Martí is located in a beach with medium-sized sand between the Punta Verda and the Punta d'en Valls, on which the Torre de En Valls or Campanitx from the 18th century is located.

The tower served to warn the inhabitants of the pirates' attacks. From the shore you have a wonderful view of the Tagomago Island, which was formerly a refuge of the Berber pirates, is now part of a nature reserve. The shore, of sand and gravel - of 170 meters long and 30 meters wide - is bordered by low cliffs with several fishermen sheds. These have ramps on which the fishermen pushed their boats into the sea. At the center of the beach, a pier allows you to climb comfortably into the clear waters with rocky seas with Posidonia. The beach is perfect for snorkeling. In the summer, the beach offers sun loungers and sun loungers, and there is a beach bar on the shore for a cool beverage. In the surroundings you will find excellent restaurants with a rich gastronomic offer.

To get to the beach from Sant Carles de Peralta (5.2 km), follow the road signs. Your car can be parked near the beach.
