Cove Racó de sa Talaia

Racó de sa Talaia is near Sant Joan de Labritja, located between Escull des Pas and Punta Nin del Corb, as well as below Talaia de sa Cala (303 metres high( and the village of Sant Vicent de sa Cala.

This quite big sea inlet finishes on a large bay, surrounded by high and steep cliffs, on the top of which you can see one of the largest and best preserved pine woods of Eivissa, between Puig de ses Penyes and Pla de ses Formigues.

The marine and underwater conditions for anchoring boats are the best in the south of this bay. The navigator has to know that this bay is open to the wind from the northwest-north-northeast, and there is crystal clear water that invites you to dive. The skipper will find a sandy ground and a depth that ranges from eight to 12 metres, whereas you have to avoid the right side because of the reef.

The accessibility by car is easy following the signs and the deviations. The last part has to be done on foot through private properties after asking for authorization. Then you have to go down the stairs. The private car can be left on a free parking area at half an hour of distance, where there is only place for three cars.
