Cove Carbó

Welcome to the wildest beaches of the small tourist center Cala Sant Vicenç, in Pollença: Cala Molins, Cala Clara, Cala Barques and Cala Carbó.

The last one is the loneliest of them, which is a stroke of luck for you if you love quiet areas with few bathers. You will find a landscape with a striking Mediterranean character, with a strong wind and sometimes dangerous north wind, thanks to the rock cliffs, where almost no vegetation grows. Since the beach does not offer any services, you have to bring along drinking water, some food and bathing shoes as the shore is covered with pebbles, gravel and the remains of Posidonia. At the foot of the cliffs, hidden between the rocks, you can find ancient fishing sheds or escars, with ramps on which the fishermen pulled their boats into the sea. The deep seabed is a perfect place for a dive.

To reach Cala Carbó from Pollença (7.1 km) you have to follow the road signs to Cala de Sant Vicenç, where you can park your car near the beach or in the streets of the village. You can easily reach the beach by bus.
