A sunset on Ses Illetes beach on Formentera

Ses Illetes is one of the world´s ten best beaches. The beach is 4 km from La Savina, between Punta des Pas and Platgeta des Carregador. The beach was named by the UNESCO World Heritage because of its sea grass meadows. The sea grass ensures that the seawater remains clear. Ses Illetes is a good example of the fact that you do not have to travel far to find beaches with white sand and turquoise water. The highlight of the day is the sunset: it is known as one of the best sunsets of Formentera.
