Beach Estany d'es Peix

This natural salt lake is ideal for water sports with little draft, wind surfing, kayaking or sailing. The lagoon has small beaches with little depth and warm water and virtually no waves. It is therefore ideal for a beach afternoon with the children. It has no other services, so you should take drinking water and something to eat with you. S'Estany des Peix is a very quiet place, which is liked by the locals and some tourists. As on most of the beaches of Formentera you can also swim as a nudist. 

It forms several small bays with a family atmosphere, with sandy seabed and Posidonia sea grass meadows, where many marine animals live. In the west, the lagoon borders with salt deposits from Roman times and wetlands, where migratory birds such as the flamingos stop. You can reach the beach on foot from La Savina.
