History, landscape and wine culture create a magical mix in Binissalem. Located in the centre of the island, it has a long tradition in the production of quality wines and was the first region in Mallorca to obtain a DO (Denomination of Origin), which also covers the towns of Santa Eugènia, Santa Maria del Camí and Sencelles.

That is why the main attraction of Binissalem is anything to do with the world of wine: visits to vineyards and wineries, tastings and pairings with the best exponents of Mallorcan gastronomy. In fact, part of Mallorca's wine production is kept on the island, which means that you can take home unique products that are impossible to find anywhere else.

Among the most outstanding events related with the world of wine, in September the municipality celebrates the Festes des Vermar (grape harvest festivals); and in May it celebrates Wine Days Mallorca, an event organised by the DO that combines wine tastings with cultural and gastronomic experiences.
