Winery Vinyes i Vins Ca Sa Padrina

This is an artisanal winery founded in 1999 with the intention of bringing back the high quality wines that were made in Sencelles in the past century. All the grapes come from the eight hectares of vines grown on the winery itself. The varieties include Manto Negre, Callet, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, although Manto Negre is the most prominent. The winery has the capacity to produce 28,000 litres in stainless steel vats in which the fermentation temperature can be regulated. The ageing takes place in French and American oak barrels, which polish off the wine in the space of four months. To finish it, the wine rests inside the barrels for six months. The wine we craft conserves the fruity flavours of its youth, accompanied by the bouquet of the oak. They are ruby-coloured.
