Menorca from December to February
Menorca in winter is the closest thing to the Scottish Highlands: nature bursts forth with energy from its fertile land and the island is covered in a blanket of deep green. This time of year offers a surprising intimacy and exclusivity, perfect for exploring coves and secret corners along the hiking and cycling routes offered by the Camí de Cavalls, discovering its most ancestral traditions, such as the Diada del Poble de Menorca (17th January), the tradition of Es Bujot at Easter or visiting the Favàritx lighthouse on a stormy day. It is also an ideal time to discover its gastronomy and to make indoor plans, such as visiting its museums, monuments and the galleries of local artists.
