Beach De Ferragut

If you love untouched landscapes and like to discover the real character of Menorca, this beach has a lot to offer you. You can visit the pretty Cavallería beach, or the secluded and wonderful lighthouse of the same name, from which you can enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the sea. The view is unforgettable at sunset. The lighthouse, built in 1857, is today an interesting exhibition that documents the history of the seven lighthouses of the island. You should not miss this exhibition! 

To get to the beach from Es Mercadal (10.8 km), follow the signs to the Cavalleria Lighthouse and park your car near the beach. From there you walk about 15 minutes on foot westwards and reach Ferragut. Do not forget the appropriate footwear, drinking water and some food!
