Beach D'es Tancats

The beaches are also known as La Vall, because you are on a coastal section, which is part of the impressive La Vall territory. It is a mountainous region with dense pine forests, cultivated fields, dune systems and cliffs overlooking pretty, untouched and isolated beaches. The area is a bird sanctuary because of its obvious ecological values. Es Tancats is the largest beach in the Cala Algariens bay. It is 440 meters long, consists of fine, white sand and has transparent, shallow water. The beach is completely surrounded by forests and vegetation. It does not provide services; do not forget to take some drinking water and food to enjoy a beautiful beach day in an untouched enclave where you will only see pure nature. 

To get to the beach from Ciutadella (13.4 Km) you have to take the Ronda Norte and follow the road to Cala Morell. Here you branch off in the direction of Cala Algariens. You can park the car near the beach. You can also reach the beach by public transport.
