Cove Atalis

Treasures often hide in the most unexpected places.

This is the case of Cala Atalis (or Talis); a rough diamond that is discreetly located between the huge and popular Sant Tomàs and Son Bou beaches. The visitor will be overwhelmed by the beauty of this tiny bay of 10 meters in length and 1 meter in width. Its waters are so blue that they deeply impress in the memory of the visitor, and the beach is very quiet and hardly visited. Cala Atalis is located on the south coast of the island, and is exposed to the south winds. For this reason, you will sometimes experience moderate waves and currents. Be careful if you visit the beach on a windy day.

You may be interested in the fact that in the background of the beach is a section of the famous 'Camí de Cavalls'. This itinerary encircles the Minorcan coast and is the most famous path of the island. If you like to go hiking, or simply take a walk, this is one of the most recommended and beautiful routes of the archipelago. To get to Cala Atalis you have to park your car in the Urbanización de Sant Tomás and walk 20 minutes. We advise you to wear comfortable shoes and bring something to drink.
