Cove D'es Tamarells

The beach is divided into two sections by a rock bar, and is part of the S'Albufera of the Grau Naturpark, a large wetland area where many migratory birds stop on their long journeys between Europe and Africa. The beach is located between the Punta de Sa Pastera and Es Colomar, where is the Torre of Tamarell. The former watchtower served the protection of the coast of Menorca. An untouched landscape where you can spend an unforgettable day by the sea, surrounded by nature. 

To get to the beach you have to take a walk of about 2 kilometers. The starting point of this tour is Es Grau; you must follow a coastal section of the Camí de Cavalls. You need suitable footwear and drinking water and food, because the beach does not provide services. This is the great value of this book! To get on the road from Maó (13 km) to Es Grau, you have to follow the road signs. You can park your car near the beach.
