Cove Llucalcari (Alaior)

Cozy and friendly, the bay of Llucalcari is located outside the picturesque village of Deià, at the foot of the Serra de Tramuntana, which dominates the north of the island. It is the most important sight of this small village of the same name ("llogaret" in Mallorcan language) with no more than ten houses.

It is a small, rather secluded bay, with transparent water. One of its sights, besides its beauty and tranquility, is the freshwater spring. It springs from clay and forms an improvised mud bath, which is used by many for exfoliation as they relax in something like paradise.

To get to the beach, you have to follow the road signs to Deià and take about 4 km on the road to Llucalcari. You have to park your car on the road and descend about 300 meters to the bay. This is a pleasant walk between pine trees with the flavor that only the Mediterranean has.
