Cove Mitjana (Ferreries)

Cala Mitjana is an unspoiled beach with crystal clear water and a light-flooded sand bottom.

The beach is located in a natural protected area, which extends from Binigaus to this beach. Birds, bats, frogs, toads and shrews live in this protected area. The beach (90 meters long and 140 meters wide) offers no services; so you should not forget to take something to drink and to eat, to spend a wonderful day in this pretty, mid-rise, pine-wooded cliff. Cala Mitjana is located between Penyal Alt de S'Anglès and Es Pont de N'Aleix, close to the Urbanización Cala Santa Galdana, at the end of a sea inlet, which also Cala Mitjaneta has created.

To reach the beach from Ferreries (9.3 km), follow the road signs to Cala Galdana and take the turnoff to Cala Mitjana. The beach has its own parking space. You can also walk the beach by foot - with appropriate footwear - from Cala Galdana by following a 1.5 kilometer section of the Camí de Cavalls.
