Cove Ses Fontanelles

It is a small and lonely beach at 11 Km from Ciutadella, between the tops of Punta de s'Après and Ses Fontanelles. It is a secluded bay which also houses the beaches of Cala Algaiarens (it Bot and it Tancats), Codolar de Biniatram and Cova d'en Guàrdia. The bay is characterized by its small dimensions, its calmness and its U shape. It is a beach of pebbles and sand, with clean and calm water, a gentle breeze, gentle slope and few bathers. The beach is perfectly integrated into the imposing mountain landscape of La Vall; the area covers 3,135 hectares and contains La Falconera (a 200-meter-high hill), deep pine forests, bushes, lagoons, dune systems, imposing cliffs and unspoilt beaches. A natural paradise waiting for its discovery. 

The access to the beach is easy if you follow the signs to Cala Algaiarens. The last piece you have to walk back, but there is a big reward waiting for you!
