Menorca in April: the tourist guide

VISIT THE HISTORIC CENTRE OF MAHÓN

Take advantage of the calm of the island in the month of April to take a stroll through the main sites of interest in Mahón, its capital, and soak up Menorcan culture.

During your trip through the capital city you should see the Fortaleza de la Mola, Menorca's most important work of military engineering; the Plaza de la Constitución, where the Town Hall and the Church of Santa María are located, and the Portal de San Roque (San Roc Bastion) to see the remains of the main gate of the wall that surrounded the city. End your tour on a terrace overlooking the port and try some of its typical dishes or products such as lobster stew or Mahon cheese.
