At the top of Monte Toro, the highest mountain on the island that is 365 metres tall, is the sanctuary and convent dedicated to Our Lady of Monte Toro. The sanctuary and convent, of medieval origin, was rebuilt in the 17th century (1670) on top of the old Gothic church and was formerly a place of pilgrimage and there was an inn to accommodate pilgrims.

The S'Albufera des Grau Natural Park is the most important natural reserve in Menorca and one of the key points of the Menorcan Biosphere Reserve. It has more than 5,000 hectares of wild olive forest, beaches, dune systems, wetlands and a wide variety of animal and plant species. If you are a fan of hiking and nature you cannot miss it.
The Park has three different routes to explore it that are approximately one hour long. With the onset of spring and the warm weather, we recommend that you follow the route that runs between trees a short distance from the beach, so that you can finish it with a refreshing swim.
Visit the Natural Park website for more information on how to get there, timetables and available activities.
