An exciting journey to the past!
At the entrance to the port of Mahón, the Sant Felip castle was built in the middle of the sixteenth century, a military building with four bastions and surrounded by a narrow and deep ditch carved into the stone. It was demolished under King Charles III, but the complex network of underground tunnels connecting the various parts of the castle is still preserved today.
From June to September, you and your family will be able to explore these tunnels with a nightly guided tour. You will discover the underground galleries along with soldiers in military uniforms from another time. In the light of the torches, you will have very intense experiences and hear the roar of the 18th century cannons, accompanied by musket shots and an explosion.
